The BBC World Service will air highlights from this year’s BBC Proms, “the world’s greatest classical music festival” on seven consecutive Saturdays starting July 28. Click here for more information about the Proms, including the programs for the highlight episodes.
KSPB will air the three-part series Order 9066 from American Public Media starting Monday, July 23. Order 9066 was produced as a collaboration by APM Reports with the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History.
Through vivid, first-person accounts of those who lived through it, Order 9066 chronicles the history of the incarceration of some 120,000 people of Japanese ancestry who were forced from their homes on the West Coast and sent to one of ten “relocation” camps during World War II.
Episodes will air Mondays from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. with an encore on Saturdays from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. Click here for more information about the program and the individual episodes.
As part of Stevenson School’s Reunion Weekend, KSPB welcomes some alumni DJs back to the airwaves! Half-hour long alumni shows will run from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2018.
The public affairs program Climate One, which normally airs on Saturday at 10:00 a.m., will run at 9:00 a.m. The encore airing on Sunday, June 7 will run at its usual 10:00 a.m. time.
